Tatano… Multi-fuel for you!

So… What’s so great about the Tatano range

Well, compared to the Guntamatic range they don’t look as pretty and aren’t as efficient BUT they do the job!

They are multi-fuel boilers which mean that as the prices go up and down customers can snap up a few bargains simply by changing the fuel they burn- which means consistently saving money.

Tatano boilers can burn right through from wood pellets, logs, oats, barley and wheat to grasses such as miscanthus.

Definitely worth thinking about if you have access to these types of fuel OR even buy in as you will still save money… Happy Days!!

Friday, May 8th, 2009

If you have been wondering who this mystical company is… well wonder no more…

Guntamatic are the trusty manufacturers of our wonderful state of the art biomass boilers that are the UK’s Highest efficiency boiler- Yes the UK’s BEST BOILERS!

Guntamatic was founded in 1963 and currently has 180 employees. They construct, prototype and test their boilers in house. Guntmamtic have 20 000m² manufacturing area and distribute 12 000 biomass boilers annually throughout Austria and Europe including Germany, Italy, France, Switzerland, Irland, UK and Spain (with an export rate of 70%). They have been manufacturing boilers for over 45 years and have expert knowledge in the field.

The Guntamatic boilers are not only about market-leading technology- they look really sleek as well… running mostly on pellets but also logs- our technical manger absolutely LOVES them… and he knows a thing or two about boilers.

Our install team have been trained by Guntamatic and have a lot of experience installing them… taking between 3-5 days roughly (dependent on site survey though)… as the fuel store is custom-built to meet the customers requirements.

That clever cat Jonathon Porritt from the BBC news blog has hit the nail on the head… Sustainable development IS BIG not BORING!!  And I have to say I totally agree- ‘Sustainable development is NOT a “boring catch-phrase for sad gits with nothing better to do with their lives”.

In this week’s Green Room, he explains why it holds the key to a better future, and why politicians ignore it at their peril.’ And I am, as he is, biased because of the industry that I work in, but I too cannot help but wonder how much longer politicians will go on ignoring the overwhelming benefits of using sustainable development.

The NIMTO (Not In My Term of Office) attitutde however IS incredibly boring… an attitude which has been propped up and fueled in too many years and PM’s. The press and ‘Stern Review’ did help push this along and weigh up the cost on not investing in a sustainable future. And things are changing… just slowly… I think secretly renewable energy and investing in a sustainable future is just a lot of ear ache for all governments that have had to tackle it.

Well they better get on with it… otherwise there’s going to be a whole lot more coming your way Gord!
