M&S aims to be carbon neutral

LONDON (Reuters) - Retailer Marks and Spencer (MKS.L: QuoteProfile , Research) set itself the target of becoming carbon neutral by 2012 on Monday and said it would spend 200 million pounds on its efforts in the next five years.

M&S said it had a 100 planned changes in mind, including ensuring none of its packaging or clothing would have to be thrown away, sending no waste to landfill sites and labelling all the products on its shelves that had been flown in.
