This boiler will burn chip and wood pellets. Using moving grate technology for ash removal, the powerchip's auger feeds the fuel from the store into the boiler. High efficiency and multiple fuel choice make this a boiler for the future with the option to heat your property with the fuel of the moment.

How did you find the service?
‘Once we got Treco’s Rob onto the job- all the work settled and things ran really smoothly.’
Did you feel you had all the information you needed?
‘Yes we had all the information, booklets and manuals etc- there was a constant flow of information. We only had to mention we needed something and Treco would produce whatever we needed.’
Were you shown how to work the boiler?
‘Yes on the commissioning Rob showed us how to work everything. To be fair though, most of the programming was self-explanatory- we just had to start it up and it runs quite happily.’
Are you happy with the product?
‘Yes, very happy, the product itself effectively does exactly what it says on the tin. It’s not blocked once, it just does it. We have friends that have a another biomass system and its not in the same league as ours- but it was the same price. It just doesn’t do what ours does- they have to tend to it everyday- de-ashing and cleaning- ours cleans itself and we just let it get on with it. Theirs just doesn’t compare.’
Has it saved you money?
‘Eventually it will- its definitely cheaper than oil- oil prices are on the up again- so I’m confident that it will pay for itself and more.’
What’s the most advantageous aspect of the boiler?
‘That it’s practically carbon neutral and virtually as easy as oil and the fact that most other products don’t compare with our Guntamatic. People just need to get their head around the fact that oil will run out.’
Has the boiler lived up to your expectations?
‘Yes and more especially compared to other products on the market.’
General- Very happy- would definitely recommend the boiler and Treco. As he says- the boiler just keeps going with the minimum of fuss- especially compared with other products in the market.
